Duck Depression

This type of depression is real.

 

For me, this song made it set last night, real bad.

 

When I sit back and think about it, the dog is what makes it more than just a hobby. I shot a lot of nice birds last year and Drake and I are really learning how to hunt together. It's hands down the most amazingly fun, intriguing, frustrating and sometimes even most depressing thing I'm likely to pursue in my life.

 

Looking over photos today made the depression set in even further.. Hope it stokes someone's fowl flame a bit!

With 2 weeks to the mountain opener, it's time to put that duck depression behind us and get ready to put our eyes to the sky.

Nice pics! Nice dog too. I have a chocolate lab but he's a little chicken. Doesn't like the sound of gun shots. Wish I can take him hunting with me so he can get the birds while I hang out.
