photofool Report post Posted April 27, 2014 After reading the 2014-2015 hunting regulation ,I see you can now keep the skulls and antlers from winter kills and other dead carcass as long as the are not fresh with meat and hair on them. Does anyone know if shed buyers can buy the antlers from said skulls? Thanks
Critter Report post Posted April 27, 2014 I thought you could always keep them if not fresh and as long as no hair on skull.....That was my understanding anyway. I'm pretty sure it hasn't kept anyone from buying them anyway if someone has them for sale.
bonecollector777 Report post Posted April 28, 2014 Yes as long as they were obtained legally they can be bought. Azgfd has told me and another antler buyer I know that if someone brings in a head with hair or some flesh we can purchase them of we get their name, number, and drivers license number. Just in case in the future they need to inspect a trailer and know where it came from.
