ctafoya Report post Posted April 26, 2014 Was up in 4a last weekend. A few flurries then hail then rain. Nothing too bad to keep the turkey quite. The more moisture the better!
rossislider Report post Posted April 26, 2014 Nice! we sure need it! I hope Greens Peak area is getting it. Some friends camping up at Greens Peak sent us a picture of their campsite. Looks like about 3-5 inches of snow.

billrquimby Report post Posted April 28, 2014 I, for one, hope the Apache-Sitgreaves doesn't lift fire restrictions until after the summer rains start. A little storm like this one hit in early spring a couple of years ago, resulting in forest officials easing restrictions -- and we got the Wallow Fire! We just came through the driest winter in the White Mountains that I can remember since I started coming up here with my parents in 1946. Yesterday's snow didn't do much to ease the fire danger.
