What is your favorite bow brand? - archery market research

I have an Athens right now and really like it. Also, a PSE bowfishing rig.

Bowtech, strother, g5 prime, hoyt, mathews...in that order. I have shot them all very much.

I've been a PSE fan for ever but this new bow tech is turning me

 

I love Bowtech's designs. I've had the admiral and currently shoot the assassin

 

Bowtech, I have owned a lot of bows and they are the best by far.

Bear archery. I own 3 Bear bows including a nice 1976 Grizzy recurve.

 

Love my Elite and loved my PSE

I'd be lethal with any of the bows listed... That being said, I've shot Mathews for about 10 years now. Started out with the old red fox when I was a youngin

Looks like Bowtech in the lead with Hoyt a close second. Seems about right. Had a Bowtech Allegiance and really liked it, my first "pricey" bow after a Mathews Conquest Light. I wanted to try out a Hoyt. On my Bowtech I had a good sight (7DP) but still had a whisker biscuit on it.

 

Bought the Hoyt CRX 35, changed out my arrows to ACC hunters, went to a QAD fall-away, got rid of my "variety-pack" of broadheads and stuck with 3 heads that have always worked well, and a silly thing happened. I started killing more stuff with my bow.

 

Probably not the bow at all, I just found something that felt comfortable --- like a lucky hat.

Bear motive 6 shooting 346 but the new pse is shooting bullets at 370 fps. Will be my next bow before archery deer

My vote goes to bowtech. Its what I shoot. Plus, Jim Burnsworth does some pretty impressive stuff with his bowtech. Hard to argue with his results.

Industry leaders 10 years ago maybe. They're slow bows with the same ol boring solo cam and stupid grip. At least they started getting lighter. Almost every other bowmaker has blown them away in the last 5 years. They try to catch up with their dual cam series but those are still years behind most of the competition.

Obsession and Elite. My new Evolution will be in soon. Over 350 fps with 80% let off....and you can hold it just like my Elite hunter. I have shot them all to date both these brands are my choice. Athens are a close 3rd. Desert Ghost Archery is a dealer for all three.

Mathews is way behind? Spoken like a guy who has never owned a Mathews!! They are not the fastest bow on the market, but they are the smoothest after the shot, and draw very smooth as well. Try one out, you just might like it.
