Seldom Drawn Report post Posted April 23, 2014 This isn't bull crap I also have a pic of another elk lost with 4 broaheads in it I have over 10.000 pics to look thru if I can find any of them I will post them up tomorow.I think i posted one of them on The Arizona hunter a couple years ago so I have no reason too lie if you don't believe it to bad. 5guyshunting Report post Posted April 23, 2014 My youngest son has harvested 2 elk. One with a 243 and I did not like the choice, but that was what he could shoot at 10yrs old. Dead elk with a little tracking. Second year .270 at 200 yards dropped in tracks with a 130 grain remington core loct. There were 5 more killed with the same round with no problem. A man has to know his limitations , and that is for him to decide, caliber or distance. You just need to know your capabilities. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
