SNEEKEE1 Report post Posted April 26, 2014 I thought I had a pretty B/A job but this might take the cake n as hyperwrx said it has to be a huge numbers game. Have to prove you can get the numbers they want.
Hyperwrx Report post Posted April 27, 2014 For 6K a month I could try my damnedest to put down as much fur as they require. I bet 3-4 coyotes a day would keep you in the money.
SNEEKEE1 Report post Posted April 27, 2014 I'm guessing from what everyone is saying anything goes for these guys so if you were retired or was your way of living it wouldn't be too bad. Figure set traps call n spot light pretty sure it would be easy to get the numbers they want.

billrquimby Report post Posted April 28, 2014 The photo in this thread shows the heads of mountain lions that a rancher and his hounds (and not a federal animal control employee) were suspected of killing and not reporting. The guy also was suspected of killing a lot of bears illegally in the Galliuros and Pinalenos, but was never prosecuted as far as I know. The photo was taken at a dump site by a AZGFD wildlife manager and created a firestorm of criticism from hunters and anti-hunters alike when it first surfaced in the 1980s. I know of only 1 individual in AZ who makes a living trapping for personal gain + AZG&F work and I suspect he lives a pretty meager living by most people's standards. As a single retired guy I could see it, but I don't forsee my wife being happy holed up in some shed of a house while I run across the state trapping. I wish. roninflag Report post Posted April 29, 2014 This was on BLM land where I talked to him. But little calves were on both Natl forest and BLM. This was in 7. Must be a cool job! My son just told me about a guy who shot coyotes off golf courses in town at night with a suppressed rifle. so the calves are on public land and the paid govt hunter is killing predators on publicland to save the calves?? if cows eat 3x the amount a single elk does just imagine how many elk we could have on public land. instead we have the guys whining about wolves .....amazing.
