I have the sling swivels and original leather strap/sling also, *missing grip cap

 

Rifle is very tight! Wood has been recently revived and treated with boiled linseed oil

 

G model? although G's supposed to be checkered wood so possibly earlier? think mid to late 20's??

 

TRADES CONSIDERED. special interest in auto 20ga or o/u 20's. binoculars, carbon tripods, 38-380-9mm small for wifey.. in need of nice ice chest mine seem to be dying or dead, 243's, 223's,

My dad's one and only rifle was this same gun that he received in 1954. He used it for everything he hunted on 4 legs. Shot it with open sights until his lat 50's or early 60's when he mounted a Redfield 4 power scope to help his eyes focus. I have the rifle on permanent loan to a friend's grandchild so it's still getting some field use.

Nice! think this is 20's model, numbers weren't always sequential and super early hade no e, g, f, etc.. and some were made inbetween these changes i understand.. what i do positively know is this is a rock. solid rifle.
