rcu74 Report post Posted April 11, 2014 Drew my first Archery bull tag in 3a/3c. Wondering if the 3a area is worth looking in or just sticking to the 3c side of the highway? Any help is appreciated.

SwampMafia Report post Posted April 11, 2014 Go 5-10 miles east of black canyon lake. There's a strip of thick forest that is for the most part roadless. It's loaded with elk and lots of bulls are pushed through the Heber area from 4b into it. I don't mind telling you this because I don't hunt 3c and probably never will. I just fish the area and dirt bike there and no lie around every corner on the trails in that area there's a 300 bull. Pm me if you need more specifics.
