azdesert rat Report post Posted April 10, 2014 Ok so I already have a good external frame pack for load hauling and long trips so now i'm looking for an internal frame pack that's just big enough for a night or two with room for optics&tripod and a spot to strap my bow, my price range is around the 300 mark. Any suggestions?

rossislider Report post Posted April 11, 2014 I love my Eberlestock Dragonfly! The rifle scabbard works great for packing a tripod, just tuck the lower part up of the scabbard up in the pack and throw your tripod in. It is also expandable for when you need a larger pack. I picked up the butt bucket attachment for packing my bow. There are some good demos of the pack on youtube. http://www.eberlestock.com/J107%20Dragonfly.htm

TOBY Report post Posted April 12, 2014 easton fullbore on camofire for under 100 bucks right now. comfortable and cheap but hauls a bunch. and it comes in at 5lbs not 10 like the ebes.
elpepe25 Report post Posted April 12, 2014 The Eberlestock did not do well for me with really heavy loads (90-130 lbs+) I know I was asking a lot of it but it folded like a lawn chair. Whereas my badlands packs do not, they are certainly tougher than my knees.
turkeyneck Report post Posted May 9, 2014 Narrowed it down to Eberlestock-Just One, Badlands-Clutch, or Hornhunter-Full Curl. Hard to compare in stores. Any one know if the full curl in carried in any Arizona stores?
