I don't think there is a late hunt limited to 23 south. So, he's either joking or mixing it up with 22 South, which the guy above says he drew. For what it's worth, he'd be wrong about that one too.

Yep...there be elk all over both those units!

 

Granted, you might need two or three days to pack one out. :-)

My Dad drew his first AZ bull tag! Early Bull muzzleloader area 1,2B, 2C. Beat the odds with 13 resident points too! Can't wait to join him on this one!

ment the late but was supposed to be 22s late but both late hunts are tough, early hunts are great

My first elk tag, early archery unit 1. I'm getting pretty excited reading about what to expect.

Unit 7E- Late Season Archery Bull (11/14 to 11/27)... Going to be a tough hunt, especially if they close the roads into the peaks. This is my first year in AZ and anyone who has had this tag or the late season rifle tag that follows it, and is in a sharing mood... I'd buy you lunch and cold beverage when you came in to Flagstaff, if you have any insight for me!

My 1'st one after 8 years of putting in I finally got drown not the unit I wanted it but I am still very happy I got drawn. Unit 6A .. If anyone have any good words I would really appreciate it (not looking for anybody's honey spot).
