crotalus Report post Posted December 21, 2006 Well here's a couple of pics of a buck taken Dec 20 at around 1110. It was a very chilly morning and we were off to "slow" start. We weren't even on the trail until 1000. It snowed all day yesterday and honestly we didn't worry to much about the slow start today because of the chill.Yet after a short but chilly hike and glassing up three other bucks we came across this guy. He was taken my buddy Dave Morales of Tucson who brought him down at about 150 yds with a well placed shot. It's been great hunting with Dave, his daughter Davina and my Dad. Some real quality time spent the pass few days and been really blessed in this hunt. Have seen at least six different bucks but only two shooters. All the buck we glassed were sparing and just being boys. Only four does but they were nervous... Anyway we still have my tag to go and cannot wait to get out again, keep ya posted.
