naturegirl Report post Posted April 3, 2014 1. Eat out less and cook elk instead 2. Continue eating more fresh foods and less processed foods. 3. Continue increasing exercise. 4. Limit TV and move instead. It's been working for a couple years now so I'm staying the course.
capoeirajosh Report post Posted April 3, 2014 Don't have an elk tag this year, BUT I am still trying to stay in shape for the upcoming seasons. Am just about to finish the INSANITY program for the second time. I did it last year pre-season as well and man did it help! Winded what? After that it will be off to the trails with the pup and regular scouting trips. All of this coupled with eating right. This is super important, in my opinion. Trying to eat as much fresh food as I can and as little fast food as I can, unless we are talkin game meat. Those animals are friggin fast, hahahaha.
