520HUNT Report post Posted April 1, 2014 Lots of guides are looking for good help, start making some phone calls. If you get caught taking money or accepting meat is lieu of money for guiding without a license, you can not only get charged, but could lose your hunting license. Game and Fish and the USFS are cracking down on unlicensed guides, even doing undercover operations to take down unlicensed/un permitted guides.

bonecollector777 Report post Posted April 2, 2014 They have all kinds of crazy rules. . If you take someone hunting and they pay for your gas or food it's considered illegal since you don't have a guide license. Anything for them to make an extra buck. Just do what you're gonna do with friends and those you trust and you will have nothing to worry about. When a stranger comes around wanting to be your bud and go hunting with you and tries to offer stuff then beware.

couesmagnet Report post Posted April 2, 2014 If you were not there when the animal was harvested, and did not take part in helping the client harvest the animal, then i don't think you have a problem. You helping after the fact for money isn't an issue in my opinion.
