You go thru Safford and then back up the main road that goes to Hanegans Meadow only you dont go that far. You take a road off to the west and follow it for approx30 miles I guess. I never went that way but once coming from the valley. I always went across the rez just out of Globe-Miami. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
.270 Report post Posted June 7, 2014 The 4 drag house is immediately north of honeymoon. When you leave honeymoon, you are on the 4 drag. You actually go onto the 4 drag ranch down by the Filleman crossing, but the private land starts at honeymoon. 1/2 mile west of honeymoon is the Rez. If you take 191 north from morenci for about 24 miles you come to the upper eagle creek road. Take it about another 22 miles and you come to the 4 drag gate. The road on to prowler pass, sawmill cabin and Saunders cabin is closed from feb 1 to I think June 1. When the gate ain't locked the road is usually so bad you can hardly get up it anyway.
