corkin it Report post Posted March 27, 2014 Good morning, hit the San Juan for a few days of fly fishing. Navajo lake is turning so the water was very murky. No dry fly action at all. Weather was great compared to the southern part of the state. A bit breezy but not out of control. The water in the pop up did freeze one night though:) Zach has become quite the fisherman over the last 3 years. Very independent now with tying on flies etc. Caught lots of fish. Always fun to land a 20 inch rainbow on a #24 fly. Here are a few pics of the trip.
tjhunt2 Report post Posted March 27, 2014 Thanks for sharing the fishing on San Juan. Sounds like you had pretty good fishing even though the lake was turning over. This will be the first year in many that I won't be there in April so this made my day looking at your pictures. Thanks! TJ
