PRDATR Report post Posted March 29, 2014 I went and got there about 9:30. It seems to get better every year and this year I got to shoot a Benchrest Gun. Something I have always wanted to do. I wanted to shoot a 10MM Glock but they had no ammo. I also wanted to shoot a Super Red Hawk in 454 but there wasn't one and also no real big bore rifles except a 338 Lapua that Savage had and I didn't bother to shoot. Most of the exhibters were definitely geared toward the first time shooter. I also like the Leupold trailer with all the scopes. Cabelas had an optics setup and had their 15x56 setup along side a Swarvo 15x56. It embarrassingly paled in comparison, even for my old eyes. I did hear the McMillan Mini Gun go off a couple of time which really sounded like a helicopter but I was too far away both times to see it up close and personal. From the sound of it my guess is it shot off 10K rounds each time. Another highlight for me was being able to hold a Benelli lightweight semiauto in 28ga which is something I have been leaning towards to replace my old Savage 20ga pump for dove hunting so all in all it was a good way to spend an hour and a half.
