cosninocanines Report post Posted March 24, 2014 The only bad thing about our friends is that they don't live as long as we do. Our thoughts are with you.

Chef Report post Posted March 24, 2014 I tear up every time I read these posts. I am so sorry for your loss. Mocha sure looked happy. I am sure you gave her a wonderful life, and based on your username, I know she meant the world to you. I hope someday soon, your grief can turn to a smile every time you think of her.

Edge Report post Posted March 24, 2014 We hound lovers question why the good Lord chooses to take our four legged buddies so soon. Seems they're here just long enough to train us on how much we should enjoy life, show undying love, patience and comfort us when we are down. Then in the blink of an eye they race ahead and cross that bridge. So when that day comes when we can join them again, they'll be anxiously waiting to show us the best spots in heavens fields to flush those quail and travel down easy trails thru gentle streams and tall cool grass.
Mocha1545 Report post Posted March 24, 2014 Thank you All for the wonderful comments. I know she'll be at the gates waiting (hopefully that's where I end up) and the whole pack that have owned me. It will be a great reunion! Still have 3 critters in the house. Momma's Yorky (he still looks for Mocha every time we come home), my daughters Cat and Momma's cat who has adopted me. Don't think we will add to brood. I don't think I can deal with the loss. It gets harder each time.
