PRDATR Report post Posted March 17, 2014 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vivek_Murthy "Murthy was nominated by President Obama for the post of United States Surgeon General. Murthy's nomination was opposed by Senator Rand Paul and other Republicans who placed a hold on Murthy's nomination due to prior statements on gun control." "Murthy is a physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and a Hospitalist Attending Physician and Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.[9] He is also a founder and president of Doctors for America, a group of 15,000 physicians and medical students supporting Obama in advocating for policy that would provide Americans with more affordable, accessible healthcare."
