bonecollector777........so your post reads "NMGFD almost as crooked as AZGFD".

You know there are bad apples in every organizations and AZGFD certainly have had their share of negative publicity in the department lately but over all I'm pleased with the job our AZGFD does. It's easy for people like you to sit back and claim how crooked our AZGFD is because of a few incidents. Why not take the time and look into all the good things they have accomplished over the years like getting the young involved in our sport, working with all the organizations with water catchments, and habitat improvement to benefit not only our game but each and everyone of us.

Bonecllector777, maybe you are involved in some of our outdoor organizations and if you are I applaud you and you certainly are titled to your opinion, but if you're not then maybe you should attend a water catchment project or a similar project to see first hand just how hard our AZGFD works to bring us the opportunity we have in this state which is much better than most states.

Just my humble opinion, :)

Well at least they have made someone happy. . Tell me what habitat they have improved or any hunting unit they have improved the quality of game or numbers of game? Those organizations are gonna work on the water catchment whether azgfd helps them or not. Because those organizations do it for the sole purpose of helping while the azgfd does it for money.

They may have a few good ones but every one I have run into is a arrogant power hungry d bag. Then throw in all the incidents that have been coming up with them breaking the law and getting away with it and that's enough for me. It's gonna take more than going and fixing a water tank for me to think differently of them.

Bla bla bla. You are a broken record, man. You just can't help yourself with the AZGFD bashing. Got anything new and informative to talk about? Again. If you are having issues with every G&F warden you run into, then you must be doing something you are not supposed to be doing.

I have my problems with AZGF but I take it for what it is.No agency is perfect , heck if it were we would all have tags in our pockets every year. Am I going to stop hunting because they have issues no, am I going to stop hunting because the raise tag prices no, I do it because I enjoy being outdoors seeing and doing thing most people can't . We should be glad we have the opportunity to do the things we enjoy.

Broken record! Pretty sure you look into any business organization your going to find employees that have broken a law, violated policy or procedure, or any other thing that can be done. Might as well look at Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and California G&F while your at it to see if there just as "crooked" as AZ and NM. We can just make it a southwest region problem! TJ takes the time to come on here and reply to your post about actually getting involved instead your negativity which is starting to become famous takes over and this post is gonna turn into 9 pages of the same group of people going back and forth about the same thing!

Conservation is just as much on us as sportsman as it is on government organizations! Get involved, make a difference, educate yourself, and and if we come together as a team things can get better!

Give me some time to look up the other states for you AZwest. JLW already got me going on Ohio.

I never said those organizations were bad and that they don't help the animals. In fact I feel that those private organizations devoted to different species are the only reason we have the populations of animals we have today. I would hate to see it if only the AZGFD took care of the animals. That would be like leaving hundreds of hungry lions to watch over 31 sheep.. . . Oh wait. .

Just my opinion but Arizona has the biggest game in every species that can be hunted, ie: mule deer , elk , antelope, and coues deer. If we have the best quality across the west in all these species, and the g and f has been the one managing these species then they must be doing something right a lot with regards to management. If someone has an example of a state that has better quality than Arizona then please tell us the state so I can start hunting it. All this g and f bashing doesn't add up if you have the mental capacity and brain power to process more than just negative thoughts.. Arizona g and f is far from perfect that's for sure but I would like to see an example of another state that's had as much success as az in the management of giants in every species.

Bc777, you sir are a true piece of work. So ignorant to come on here day after day and hide behind your computer and bash and bash and bash. Im guessing with the way you danced around TJs question, you never have volunteered any of your time to help out with one of those projects. Yet you continue to speak so negatively and not once have you ever offered any sort of solution. While you go to school for biology or wildlife management? What do you intend to do with that degree? Who are you going to work for? Azgfd? I would assume that your comments being now public on the interwebs, surely they would give second thought to giving u a job. That could be your way of starting to make a difference. Yet you sit here and bash those that do appreciate our opportunity we have in this state and continue to show your age and ignorance. I challange you to offer up just 1 solution in a positive notion rather than sitting back and throwing up your hands and griping to anyone that will throw you a bone..

Not that NY is a shining example of " Quality management", but most units are over-run with deer to the point you are given FREE doe tags with every Regular season licence(TWO doe tags in 3M), monster salmon/trout/smallies abound in many rivers and lakes, turkey tags (TWO spring and one fall tags), massive limits on smaller game, etc... but then again, it's STILL NY with it's over-bearing taxes and corruption...

Now regarding bashing AZGFD, I for one applaud BoneCollector777, AzLance and others for their opinions and heads-up on what is going on with something that is important to us, Arizona outdoorsmen/women, the continued health of OUR game...

Yet you still give them your money to go hunt/fish.

My point is that nothing is going to get done by just sitting here on forums and posting opinions or other articles. No one offers up any solid solutions to make a change.

Where was boney777 's rant about how bad his 23 north archery elk hunt was this year. Those darn ga and f had the nerve to offer up a measly [awesome actually] 365 bull within 600 yards of a road. I'm surprised he wasn't saying how bad of a job the g and f did managing the herd in 23 cause he didn't get one of the 2 bigger bulls hanging out right there also where he shot his. I guess the only compliment he's capable of giving the g and f was the post he made showing his elk on coueswhitetail. Com and how happy he was for getting the tag and harvesting a great bull without even having to hike much. Bonecollecter777 who was responsible for making your hunt so easy so to speak with regards to finding and harvesting your beautiful bull this year, the g and f maybe? I was there last year also and I for one was very thankful not only for the opportunity for my brother to pass on your bull early in the hunt but several others also. The hunt was amazing wouldn't you admit? Who was responsible for the quality we both got to witness? Where you happy or not with your hunt last year? Just sayin.....
