Elkhunter1 Report post Posted March 6, 2014 I just butchered my HAM hunt Javelina and this is my first meal. I seasoned the back strap with; Garlic Powder Dried Minced Onion Smoked Paprika Cumin Black Pepper Salt Chili Powder Oregano I seared the back strap in Virgin Olive Oil for 60 seconds on each side then placed it in a pan with 4oz of water, covered and baked for 12 minutes at 300* I served it with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans.
