Viper Report post Posted March 6, 2014 If I need to go light, just a butt pad. I have to sit on a downhill slope to take stain off my lower back. If I can stand an extra pound, I carry one of those 3-leg stools...the legs separate in half, held together with bungy cord, like a tent pole. It's really compact. To take the pinch off "the boys" I put my butt pad on it...really helps. If I'm close to the quad or truck, I use a light weight 4-leg chair with a back...and cup holder Sportsman's used to have them for like $9...I bought two. I have a couple other experimental types that sit in the closet.
willhunt4coues Report post Posted March 6, 2014 I have a Predator Quest seat. You can adjust the sides and lay back in it or you can sit straight up and gives you GREAT back support. It weights like 12 ounces maybe 1 lbs. Very light weight and really is never in the way. Strap it to the outside of your pack and away I go. Just ask AZP&Y how great they work he is always using one of mine when we are out. GREAT padding on the bottom for softness and warmth. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. Sportsmans sells one similar to it but it has a little strap on the bottom of the seat for a bucket. it also has 2 aluminum back support pieces that are the length on the back area this was very though out and works great.
