galiuro mountain man Report post Posted July 20, 2004 Is there a way that AZ could make a law that no guides out of state or guides where the main organization, or basically corporate office or "base" is out of state can not legally guide in AZ? Also for out of state guides to have to pay top dollar to guide in AZ? I know a few good guides this would hurt, but they do it just to be outdoors, a little extra money just before the holidays. I think it could deter a lot of the guides, and out of state hunters who hire these guides because it will cost more. I dont know, maybe Im wrong, but who even knows exactly what will come out of this. GMM

hunterdude Report post Posted July 20, 2004 I just got through reading about 2 1/2 hours worth of venting and thoughts, I stand with most of you on them. I am a resident of AZ. and have been all my life. I do not agree with the ones that say they are going to have hatered for the game and fish field officers. If you know anything about law enforcement (which is what these guys are) they field officers don't make the rules and the decisions. I can not say they are to blame. You should blame the commision people making the decisions. I wounld have to defend the officer in the field, as he is merely the messanger, not the Director, or commisioner. To sum it all up I did not draw any tags for this fall season. I will have to just become a better bow hunter. Again I am not trying to piss anyone off I just hope USO goes to heck and out of business. Good luck to those who don't know if they have been drawn yet. Guest Lark Hubbard Report post Posted July 20, 2004 hunterdude, if you'd have gone to the meeting yesterday and seen what kinda punks run the game and fish, you'd have the same opinion. as far as i'm concerned, whatever happens, happens. don't even care. from looking at the pasty skinned dorks that run the game and fish and listening to that screaming witch "madam chairman", i've had it. i'll never help the game and fish again. most of the actual work that they get done is done by the public anyway. most poachers are caught by other hunters and reported, most of the conservation is done with hunter time, labor and money. guys that want to feel good about the state. there ain't gonna be much of that take place anymore. did any of you guys see that corpse that was handing out the "blue slips"? that guy ain't never seen the sun. oh well, at least we got a few deer tags and my ol' man finally got a bull elk tag. after 21 years. he's pretty old, so it'll probably be his last one. i've got maybe 30 years left in the tank, so maybe i might be able to get one more Az tag before goin' under. doubt i'll ever get a sheep tag. this was 31 years. 10 since my last pronghorn. it's gonna be real interesting to see how they handle future draws and see how they kiss ol' georgy boy's butt. wonder when he's gonna ask the the state to pay him back for his attorney fees? you know that's gonna happen. hunterdude Report post Posted July 21, 2004 There again Lark, or is lark. I guess if a gun kills a person it is the guns fault, if the game and fish committe makes a bad choice it is all the people that work for the game and fish, and if you are caught drinking and driving it's the officers fault. You need to grow up and learn to look at things in an adult way. If everyone thinks like you I hope that you do not get a chance to hunt anymore. It's people like you that will end up ruining it for everyone, but you will not see it that way. A voice of many is heard more than the voice of one, so maybe what you should do is to start a petition on the problems you are having and take it to the state. That might do you more justice than being mad at the unit managers. I wish I was in the position to just jump up and go to the meetings but I have a family to support and responseabilities, I hope that when you go to these meetings you sit down and think, is it the field officers I am sitting around making the decisions or is it the committe that I am looking at. Guest Buster is Starting to Wear Down Report post Posted July 21, 2004 Heeeeeeey Sir Lark, Can't you see that your quest to change the AZGFD is a nowhere road? Can't you see that your '30 years left in the tank' is dying more each day? Holy cow, Lark, can't you see that you are pissin' up a rope trying to change things in Huggerville? Can't you see that you are way too radical for this gentle-natured discussion forum? You just ain't gonna last forever, partner. They will wear you down, because bureaucracies are only beaten by the FEDS and the rich guys! You are neither. WYOMING is the answer. Only 500,000 (that equates to 499,998 sh$theads plus you and me) people in the whole, entire state! Over 400,000 pronghorns (my back yard is full of 'em!). Plus all that public land just dyin' for you to recreate on! You can still call 'yotes in with half-a$$ed calling here, and whack 'em with a handgun! No Coues bucks here but lotsa REAL BIG GAME! Consider this information, Lark, and let me know when you wanna come up and look over this incredible countryside. I completely forgive you for threatening to blow a hole in my engine block with your .30-06. You prolly wouldn't get it done anyway, 'cause my .338 Rem Ultra Mag is WAAAAAAAAY bigger than yours, and 'cause I'm WAAAAAAAAY more pi$$ed off at people and politics and things than you are. Buster, tired but still hangin' in there

Guest Buster's Last Post Report post Posted July 21, 2004 As much as I enjoy interacting with you fine Arizona citizens, I gotta git. I just visited here because I wanted to get a handle on what Arizonan's thought about the lawsuit, to get some better background on AZGFD politics and history, and to try to understand your strong feelings and threats. LOL, Lark Hubbard calling anybody a 'loudmouth' is a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. Next time I feel a warm wind from the southwest, I'll know that he's back on his soap box, LOL. Are y'all ignoring me? Not hardly. You all have read EVERY LAST WORD that I've posted, some several times, LOL. And no, I didn't draw anything in AZ, I was just funnin' with y'all on the other thread. Buster is Gone
Guest Lark Hubbard Report post Posted July 21, 2004 good riddance creep. i'll be in baggs in the afternoon of oct 7. stand on the side of the road with a sign that says "i'm buster". i'll stop and introduce myself. you'll find a i'm a real nice guy. or not. it needs to be a big sign, like in the diehard movie. i can't see very well. you know, near sighted, narrow point of view, crappy outlook on life. go back to the the kiddy porn and big boy diapers and leave us poor ol' misguided Arizona boys alone to wallow in misery in the land of big elk and coues deer, no tornados and warm winters. i'm gonna miss ya. as long as there are guys like you i can always be reassured that i ain't the most screwed up guy around. as long as you're alive, worst i can ever be is next to last. thanks again, for leaving. everybody else, hunt hard. they're out there.
