Congratulations! That is a great buck. I shot a 3 point with no eyeguards this year as well. When I say none, I mean not even a bump! Didn't realize it before I shot, although I would have shot anyhow. I am convinced that any coues buck is quite a trophy. I can't stop jumping on this site, I have a Mexico hunt starting day after Xmas and I can't stand the wait anymore! Thanks for all of the great posts and pics everybody, you are helping me stay a little bit sane!

I have an addiction, but I refuse to acknowledge it as a problem!!

Thanks for all of the kind words and responses.

Backcountry, I personally have never shot a coues buck before with little/no eye guards such as this one, so one out of nine means not very common to me.

Funny thing is that I shot a good Mule deer with my bow in 2004 that has the same thing...no eye guard on the right side and a very small one on the left. Go figure.

Your not kidding by saying it was a great hunt. That buck has awesome tine length. It does kind of surprise me that he doesnt have better eye gaurds. Great to see all your hardwork and scouting paid off. Congrats agian.
