AZ8 Report post Posted March 4, 2014 Nice fish! Man, I used to enjoy catching those fish! Some of my best memories fishing as a young kid. Here I am, mid-1970's at my favorite bluegill hot spot!
naturegirl Report post Posted March 4, 2014 I'm no longer a kid and still loving catching them. In my book any fish is better than no fish and it's a monster! I couldn't help but think wow this guy actually is letting his picture be posted so we can all enjoy his record breaking fish! Great catch!

I couldn't help but think wow this guy actually is letting his picture be posted so we can all enjoy his record breaking fish! Great catch! from what I understand is that this guy is a bass fisherman. He wasn't targeting panfish. But with a fish this size, anything goes. And it's size is due to eatting quags. I hear there also gettin close to being this size at pleasant. So, I imagine it isn't a real secret and dude isn't giving away any secrets.
couesmagnet Report post Posted March 4, 2014 I would rather catch that jumbo flat iron, than a 12 pound bass. What a fish!!!

idgaf Report post Posted March 5, 2014 I would pass on the 12# lb for that fish. I could make a weeks worth of fish taco's from that guy.
