SNEEKEE1 Report post Posted March 3, 2014 Went out with the wife yesterday to give my Christmas presents a try. This was my first coyote n also the first coyote me n my wife had shot together was a day of firsts the way I look at it. Hoping to get some more. We were both excited with this one we set up n started calling at about the 10 min mark I saw her come running in and lost her behind a tree. Told the wife get ready I have one on my side it ran down into the wash n should be coming out. I kept looking where I last saw it then my wife says she sees it and it's looking right at us. Of course i couldn't see it at the this time. Then I saw it's head pop out from behind a mesquite not being very good at eye balling distances. I put the cross hairs a little cause I thought it was closer then it was squeezed the trigger n heard the whaap. Gave it a few minutes took a good look around to make sure there wasn't another one creeping around. We tried to make a couple more stands but had people hot rodding around n guess people decided to come out n shoot at random things so this was the only one we got.
