bo5953 Report post Posted March 5, 2014 They can be. The terrain up there is thick, wet, slippery and sometimes steep. Longest shot I think I ever took up there was maybe 100 yards. You end up hunting a lot of clear cuts where there is a lot of left over slash (branches and downed logs) under the new growth of bushes. I shot a buck once that was only 100yds off a logging road and it took me almost 45min. to get it to the truck. Every time I pulled, it would fall down between the slash.
