huntscout Report post Posted December 8, 2006 The FX3 Rocks! Make sure you get the rechargeable batteries and they even make a big battery that you can use as an accessory that will get you a lot longer life.... You can usually find a lot better deal on the FX3's on eBay if you are shopping around... Have fun!

El Fuego Report post Posted December 8, 2006 A couple of weeks ago, a friend and I called 5 coyotes in two of five stands, prior to 10:30 am. It was a great morning. The biggest advantage is being able to strategically locate the call as it relates to the territory being called, wind direction and etc.. The call definitely shifts the odds of the amateur caller. Good luck!
Dan H Report post Posted December 12, 2006 Thanks, for the info: I got it! Hopefully, I will have some posts after the holiday of some downed varmints. It's a lot smaller than I imagined from the pictures, that's kinda cool for packing it in. Dan
azhuntnut Report post Posted December 12, 2006 Carry extra batteries in your pack for those just in case moments. I had mine on the rez last year for a lion hunt and the batteries went dead on the second stand. We had to go all the way back to camp for more.
