It was taken on 9/22 during the archery elk season (1 day after) archery only TURKEY season closed !

 

He's a mere 30 yards away.... maybe next year...

I missed a 35 yard shot on a cow this year, but tagged a cow last year.

 

Saw some really nice bulls taken out of 6Anorth this year It was my 5th straight year bow hunting elk up there! Still incredible as always!

During bear season in August, I had about ten turkeys walk right up to my blind. Of course the season wasn't open yet. I am going to try and get one with my bow next year for sure. David

Scott isn't that the truth? The Guajalote's eye-site is really incredible. Just getting ready for the "moment of truth"when I do get to draw back for real

Scott that AVATAR is truely one of kind and has kept me thinking about when I was in Austrailia in 1993 and first saw Steve on TV in OZ. NO one knew him then or what he would become?

MulieHunter it feels like that when I read others who haven't been drawn, and I've hunted there 5 straight years but someone has to get drawn ?

I truely Love 6a north and this year was no exception..
