rclouse79 Report post Posted February 13, 2014 This would make a great truck tripod. It extends to 74 inches, which makes it perfect for most anyone not playing in the NBA. If you need a head I have a mefotto ball head that is pretty slick that I will through in for an extra $10. The head is brand new. rclouse79 Report post Posted February 15, 2014 I bought a mefotto tripod. The tripod itself is under three pounds and folds up 9 inches shorter than the Manfrotto 055, or 11 inches shorter than the slik 700. I can't stand and glass with my new one, but I never did much of that anyways. I did like the feel of that slik tripod, and almost kept it. I got a good deal on it, and there are a couple of other toys I have on my list right now. I may buy another one used in the future.
