coues addict Report post Posted July 7, 2004 (edited) Hey everybody I have 4 coues hunting videos two of northstar productions, Western Whitetail, Western Whitetail Two, Phantoms of the High Sierra, The Coues is King. I was wondering if any of you have seen these and if there are any others that I am not aware of ? I really like the way they did coues is king and I have watched it about 50 times already. I also get a huge kick out of ghosts of the high sierra because those guys can`t shoot for s_ _ t. But , its entertaining as all heck! Western Whitetail, and Western Whitetail Two are also very good and you can tell they are done by hunting guides that have been around a while. COUESAZ Report post Posted July 7, 2004 (edited) Yes the northstar productions are the Mc Clendons out of cottonwood and globe. They do know couse deer and Elk. It is john McClendon and his sons and they are outfitters. They have the awsome bulls videos and the El Cato mountain lion video. If you like good hunting videos north star does some good ones. They have even guided the Eastmans on a couple hunts. As far as good coues videos I think you have them. I think we will see some more in the near future but there are not very many out at the present time that I know of. some body may have some others they know of. kirkkelso Report post Posted July 8, 2004 Rusty has a lot of video of our hunts and I think he is in the process of putting something together. I'm not real sure when it will be available, and when it is I think it will be included in some other Western hunts. I have a ton of real good video on our hunts from last year. I also have a cameraman set to film our total hunting season this year. This should give me sufficient footage to put our own video on the market. I think that when I do so, I will put some other footage in it also such as 4 or 5 Desert Bighorn hunts in Sonora and possibly some Mule deer hunts down there. We'll see. coueshunter Report post Posted July 9, 2004 There are a couple video's that have specific coues hunts on them. There is a video series called "The grand slam of deer" put out that has coues,blacktail,sitka-blacktail, whitetail and Muleys that is a bit cheesey but has coues on it. There also is a Gary Bogner video out showing a good coues bow hunt on it. Dan King has a video for about 25.00 that you can call his house and buy it from him. Thats all I know about other than the ones you posted. P.S. AZ guide. The western whitetail and western whitetail II are the McClenndon's video's and they are good ones.......Allen Taylor...... By the way, I read your hunt story on the trophy hunter website the other day and I really enjoyed it. Good story, nice picture, awesome buck! kirkkelso Report post Posted July 10, 2004 Trophy Hunter magazine has a new video out with some good coues deer footage. It's called Ultimate Hunting Adventures. I think we have probably all wished we had cameras filming some of our hunts and this would be cool to see someone who actually planned for such an occasion.
