DesertBull Report post Posted February 11, 2014 Applied for me and my son. 4 apps. $54 just to APPLY. Ridiculous. Then do it again for sheep and deer. Then Javelina and bear.

Antmo23 Report post Posted February 11, 2014 I have no problems with the app fee. We have some of the best hunting in the country, $13 per app, per person, is a small price to pay for the opportunity to go hunting (maybe). I apply for 4-6 tags a year and gladly turn over my hard earned cash for the chance, however so small, to go do what I love. $54=$54, but sitting around a campfire with your Son enjoying the great outdoors=PRICELESS.
bonecollector Report post Posted February 11, 2014 $13 is fine with me, I just paid $26 for a rez tag app fee. The people that its going to hurt is those with wife's and kids that hunt. I feel for them.

Yeah, I feel for them, but it's for a great cause. Think of it as investing in your kids/relationship. It takes out some of the sting...

My kids will work for and earn there app and tag when they are old enough to do so. If not no hunting for them.
Swivelhead Report post Posted February 11, 2014 It's up to us (outdoorsmen & women) to fund modern wildlife management. Unfortunately, everything is expensive in this economy. Whoever thought a 4X4 pickup would EVER cost 40K. As far as government agencies go, I think our G&F runs fairly lean.
bonecollector777 Report post Posted February 11, 2014 They just need some extra cash to buy those $40,000 new trucks every year for all their wardens. And remember they have to make up that 1 million they wasted last year and the thousands they spend on the commissioner to drive all over the western US. Pieces of trash. .
