goinhuntn Report post Posted February 11, 2014 I know there is a post about the Kodiak flexbow, but wanted opinions on the Kodiak flexbow 10x14 vs the Kodiak cabin tent 12x9. Getting ready to buy a new tent & can't decide between the 2 price is about the same. I like the flexbow cuz one person can put it up, but I like the awning with the optional enclosure for a cooking area on the cabin tent. Also I could eliminate taking & setting up an easy up for cooking, but not sure if one person could set up the cabin tent. any opinions out there.

Workman Report post Posted February 12, 2014 I have the cabin 12x9 with the optional 8x8 enclosure, with 2 people setup is about 15 to 20 minutes tied down and everything. It will definitely take you longer to do by yourself but it's doable. I like the cabin with enclosure for keeping coolers, gear and what not in there and if the weather is bad I'll cook in there too. I also got the hard walls for the enclosure as well, you can easily put down a piece of carpet or artificial grass and sleep two more guys if need be. KaibabHunter Report post Posted April 19, 2014 FYI the Kodiak tents are on sale 3% off, free shipping, and free ground tarp at http://www.competitiveedgeproducts.com. I've been looking at different sites for a couple months for the best deal and this is the best I've found. Just ordered the 12x9 with enclosure.
