trphyhntr Report post Posted February 10, 2014 I love the ease of cooking with the crockpot. not to mention it seems that everything i put in there comes out good. 1 package ground elk 1 onion 2 bell peppers 2 zucchini 1 can of tomato paste 1 can of diced tomatoes 2 Tbs chili powder 1 tsp cayenne 2 tsp cumin 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp salt if youre not using the slow cooker liners in your crockpot, u dun goofed. theres basically no clean up. elkaholic Report post Posted February 11, 2014 yep - why ruin a good chili in the pot - let everyone add whatever they like in their bowl - spice it how you like it is the rule at our place - I personally do not like to sweat buckets while trying to enjoying my food . looks great - I use what little is leftovers for chilidogs - lol
