Guest oneshot Report post Posted February 2, 2014 I think we have tried every place in Tucson for Mexican hotdogs, Sinaloa across from the Rodeo grounds was our favorite... Untill we went to El Guero Canelo saturday... You know they are Goood when you travel a 70mile round trip for hot-dogs hehehe... I usally drink ochatta(sp), but I had a craving for a REAL Pepsi (all sugar and no BS with the Mexican sodas).. Where is your favorite place for Sonoran Hot-dogs??? Snapshot Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Good stuff right there. Last place I had one, was across from the Rodeo grounds. Maybe Sinaloa? Can't remember the name. When I had my place down in Sahuarita, we had a B-day party and had them cater the Hot-dogs with their traveling hot dog wagon.

Big Tub Report post Posted February 2, 2014 BK was written up as the best in Tucson Weekly. GC is great (south side is better). Chacho's, a little stand on Old Nogales south of Hughes Access is my favorite due to location (Big Dogs in the Tucson mall was my favorite -- but they went out of business). My buddy does the cart at the Lowes on Oracle and his are good with the best quality dogs themselves but he skimps on the bun, which in my opinion is the most important part of the package. muledeerarea33? Report post Posted February 2, 2014 There's a place by grant road lumber on 36th street. It's a cart that sets up outside the Mexican market, they grill the buns too! Canelo's was my favorite til eating these.
coatimundi01 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Ya know canelo's dogs don't really do it for me. My fav place has always been el parro loco's cart on country club and 36th. Get it chipilon style with the toasted cheesy bun... Mmm Mmm!
Coues assassin Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Used to be a stand calle whatachon on prince and the feeway infront of L.A insurance but they moved because of construction on the freeway and I haven't been able to find them! They were the best. Other than that I like El Nenes don't go there often but i wanna say it's on prince also?
stanley Report post Posted February 2, 2014 I love a good Sonoran Dog!!! Up here in Phoenix there is a couple who have a stand set-up in a lot at 20th Street and Indian School. It's fairly close.... Love stopping by there on a Friday or Saturday night! Anyone know of any other spots in Central Phx?? Would like to try more spots and compare.... S.

az_shooter Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Guero Canelo is hands down the best. I live in Sierra Vista and no kidding every time we go to Tucson there are two stops we have to make, first one is Sportsmans and then we drive ten minutes and go to El Guero Canelo. Sierra vista has a little food truck that does them and they aren't bad to fix a craving but nobody beats Guero.

idgaf Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Also try a sonoran relleno. It the same as a hot dog but the hot dog is sleeved in a green chille. Yum.
CouesHunterAZ Report post Posted February 2, 2014 BK's is the best for me, nothing beats their salsa bar as well. There was a Fat Dog in the Tucson mall, which was not the greatest quality dog, but you could get an 8 dog hot dog for cheap.
uofahughes2 Report post Posted February 2, 2014 Theres a cart in Vail, Valentinas I think, there Sonoran Dogs are the best ive ever had.
