I've been waiting for SAAMI to review it. 129gr @ 3400FPS and PBR of a little over 400 yards. Speculation is it was built off the 400 Jeffrey or 375 Ruger.

Yep barrel life should be short but probably more than adequate when used as a hunting rifle. Shouldn't be any worse than these large RUM cartridges that people like so much. Just makes me wonder why they wouldn't opt to produce a high BC 140 grain bullet when they had to know they had this cartridge in the works. I will pick a 140 over a 130 every time no matter how inflated the BC is.

Little bullet traveling reaallllly fast. It will burn barrells. To many other good choices to get excited about this one. I wish Nosler would just produce more of the bullets they already have, I have yet to lay my hands on the .30 cal 210ALR.

Looks like a great cartridge for those that can't afford laser rangefinders. :)

It's been rumored that they'll offer a higher BC 140 than the 140 ballistic tip and accubond they already offer at some point. I'm guessing it'll be a while since that can't seem to produce much of what they announced a couple of years ago.

I'm with pwrguy on this one. Too many other good choices to get excited about this one.

Exactly! Back in the day I loaded the STW hot with 120s to try to keep my "hold right on em" distance as long as I could. These days that's just silly, range, dial, shoot. You can even do it with a .308!!! :)
