rossislider Report post Posted January 23, 2014 Does anyone know how the fee process works for Idaho's license/big game draw. Is is like AZ where you have to buy a non-refundable license up front to put in for the draw, or is it like some other states where it is an all in one fee where you only pay if you draw? Thanks

Blade Report post Posted January 23, 2014 A few years ago I got the idea in my head that I really needed to go to Idaho. I asked my dog what he thought and he jumped up like he was ready to go. So I loaded up the truck, pointed it north, and gave it the gas. The first place I stopped was the game and fish office in pocatello. If I remember correctly most if not all the deer and elk hunts were sold over the counter and included your tag and license. I think for deer it was about $300 and elk was about $450. Other species like moose sheep and goats were a draw. All I bought was a small game license. You could check their website or give them a call. The people in the pocatello office were very helpful when I was there.
