djchristensen Report post Posted January 22, 2014 Just wanted to pass a word of caution to those who may be either Duck or predator hunting on the Gila River Bottom just off of Bullard Ave and Virginia in South Goodyear. There are a group of men who are still shooting at ducks and waterfowl on the water each and every Saturday and Sunday. They shoot way before sunrise too which can scare the crap out of you. They are using air rifles and .22s and have been reported to the Sheriffs office and AZGF. I have been shot at a few times and have had ricochets close to me. I have included a link to a map so that you can see where I am talking about. The water is receding though quite a bit and the ducks are leaving to further east of me, which makes me happy. If there is anyone in the area close to there that would like to do a team up Coyote Hunt, pm me. https://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=33.387279,-112.372447&hl=en&sll=33.387351,-112.371833&sspn=0.005769,0.006899&t=h&mra=mift&mrsp=1&sz=17&z=
