Big Browns Report post Posted January 20, 2014 I've been looking at ordering a custom Turret for my gun. During my search I came across this company. Looks to be a perfect solution for what I want. For only 25 Bucks I can have a custom turret. Great idea! http://customturretsystems.com/
HuntHarder Report post Posted January 20, 2014 I like it. Seems like a good alternative. 1/4 the price, but also a little risk if it ever peels.

Becker Report post Posted January 21, 2014 Just keep in mind, and if I am insulting you I apologize, but your custom turret will be elevation dependent. Basically it will be for your gun at some fixed elevation. If you plan on say hunting around the desert 2500 to 3500 and only there you will be good but if you take that gun say on an elk hunt at 8500 ft the turret will be off. Might not be too far off depending on what ranges you are shooting but long range it will be. Thats why I usually use MOA vs having a custom turret built. Its way easy to print off a new chart for wherever I am hunting. Just my 2 cents!

rcdinaz Report post Posted January 21, 2014 I almost ordered one but ran out of time. I will be placing an order soon. Yes they are some what specific to your conditions but you could easily make the change based on where you will hunt and which load you will be using. Big Browns Report post Posted January 21, 2014 Yes the turrets accuracy is dependant on several factors. I hunt a few area's that are the same elevation. The best part of the design of these stickers is they still show MOA. This will allow you to use the yardage numbets you supply or you can still use a shooting app for various conditions if needed. sjvcon Report post Posted January 22, 2014 Let us know how they work. Lots of guys have had feeback on Kenton ... but those are quite a bit more $$$.
Big Browns Report post Posted January 22, 2014 I think they are going to work great. They send you 3 stickers. I'm sure it will be a little bit of a pain to get on right, but that's not a big deal. As long as you provide the correct info, it should work great. The sticker still shows MOA on the bottom so you can still make adjustments for different angles or elevations. I've shot my gun a lot in various temps from 50-105. I personally havent seen enought diffference to matter. My gun also shoots the same from 3000-6000 feet. That covers everything I hunt. I'm sure not every gun or load will work this way, but thankfully mine does. I'll let you know as soon as I get them
