I've sat on this particular knob several times now and I'm not sure how I've missed this thing. Maybe something drug it out a few feet to where I could see it but it was smack-dab right out in the open.

It looked a little funny from 500 yards away. Neat buck...

While I was out there I grunted this nice 2pt in to 52 yards. Decent buck, just not what I was looking for this early in the game.

Ya what you see is how that whole side grew. It's teeth has some pretty good wear on them so not sure if it had to do with age or what. Maybe it was like that it's whole life. It's all speculation I guess.

Well done! Glassing up a shed (or pick up) is on my bucket list. To me, it's a sign of reaching a higher level of glassing skill. A level I've not yet achieved. Thanks for posting. It's motivating.

Ya, I'll come in from the opposite side of the canyon next time. Getting to old to just go cross a canyon for an antler… HA!
