goinhuntn Report post Posted January 15, 2014 Hey guys just wondering what your thoughts are on this unit for rutting bucks this time of year? I have hunted this unit quite a bit for elk & deer, but not in January. Any good this time of year in the lower elevations or should I continue my efforts in the desert? We hunted 16a January 1st thru the 5th for javis & deer but no luck. Thought I might try something different for deer before the season ends. Any input will be appreciated thanks.
