Guest AZ>NMcouesaddict Report post Posted December 11, 2006 Before anyone else calls me a liar, or gives those slight hints, let me explain. I have video of coues, not a maybe sighting, video. I believe you might be wasting your time looking for them because they are very few and far between that far north. I've seen them very far North in 4A and have picked up sheds from around the Chev Butte area in Clear Creek Canyon so they do live out there, although very far and few between. Either people really don't believe that or they are afraid of the secret getting out. I've seen several deer in 4A that would score over 100". In the 90's a fella that I know killed a 117" coues in 5A, but I guess I'll have to scan the pictures so that you all will believe me. However, I do believe that shed was a muley

azcouesandelk Report post Posted December 11, 2006 I may be wrong here but isn't the pope and young non typical coues record taken from 4a?
Guest AZ>NMcouesaddict Report post Posted December 11, 2006 TREESTANDMAN, I caught the sarcasm, I guess mine was not as easy to spell out. Good laughs though. I used to tell everyone the same line about not seeing coues in those units, but there so hard to find I figured everyone else could have at it. My apologies if I came across as whiney to anyone. azhuntnut Report post Posted December 12, 2006 I have some property in the East Clear Creek area and I have had some coues on my trail cameras. I have been fishing and hunting in the 5bn area for over twenty years and I have never seen a coues in there. That doesn't mean they aren't there. Maybe El Fuego will jump in here and give us the truth. David
