Coues assassin Report post Posted January 12, 2014 I am going to buy the browning AB3 270 in the next few days and am looking at a scope to go with it. It is for my girlfriend so I don't need anything to fancy looking at about $300 tops. I looked at the diamondback by vortex at sportsmans they had for $199 it's 4-12x40 they also had other scopes in the similar price range. So any suggestions? I put a Vortex Diamonback 3.5-10x50 on my daughter's rifle and its hard to beat for the price! She's 9 years old and put three or boxes through her rifle and never once had scope-eye!
