How's about a "Let's Bash The AZG&FD" section ???

Since it's obvious that several members of CWT have a bug up their collective asses about anything the AZ G&FD does and continually muck up other threads and topics, perhaps we can isolate the threads into one section. That way other members will have the option to wade through the crap or ignore it. As it is now, any thread topic often winds up being degraded into bashing although someone opened it because of an innoculous thread topic.

 

Heck, you might even call it "AZLANCE'S Let's Bash The AZG&FD" as an award for prior participation.

I like it Tony. The point isn't that what some folks say doesn't have any merit. It's that they hijack every other thread to do it. I actually have a feeling that Lance may have some background to justify all that bitterness but it's just not needed in threads about Javelina harvests etc

if you talk to people in any state, they pretty much all say the same thing about their own state's game and fish dept. Thing is game and fish has more to worry about then just pleasing hunters. Everyone wants what they want, how they want it and any other way is just wrong.

Funny cuz it started just as stupid joke i kinda forgot how many hunters could care less if archers get jacked. maybe we should have a archery only area for all topics and rifle hunters need not bother opening any of the threads.. oh wait it was your choice to open them wherever they were correct? my bad on the classifieds but as for the others the crap g & f is pulling applied to all those.. if your happy with them and they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside then why bother reading and of those posts? and if i say like tags or not why elaborate on how stupid we must be for not liking the whole stupid deal??

 

Oh and i got all my tags on 31st but sure feel bad for all who did not.. i was wondering how people would feel if they went to drop applications off on deadline day and learned they changed to monday instead of tue.. i know last year when they extended deadline i sure was upset considering i was broke and could not apply for lope so dropped bonus point app off then they extended a week and i could have afforded to apply then.. so congrats to all who were able to apply after set deadline and wonder how many others got screwed as i did?? have a gr8 day all and enjoy your future with az g & f and az forestry

G&F is in a tough spot, there is no pleasing us ....... or them, the non-consumptives.

 

It's ok to be critical of any government agency if you've got evidence to back up your claims. Everybody screws up now and then. Unfortunately, it's not ok to admit you screwed up in this litigating society we live in. G&F, Forest Service, etc. are constantly facing that reality.

 

Personally, I've found G&F personnel to be professionals. I appreciate G & F's mission. I believe they are my ally.

Realistic view. Ive been to meetings, the majority complains of not getting drawn, they create more opportunity, we all bitch about the number of hunters in the field, the numbers of tags increased, 4 whitetail hunts, etc. Most of the bitching comes from people who have un-realistic expectations of the draw. Or who have two points for elk and whine about not getting an elk tag when they only put in for premium hunts.

I have always been treated well by officers in the field. They are at the bottom of the corporate food chain and most of them don't agree with the recommendations being imposed upon them either.

The AZ G&F is without fault and all it does is beyond question.

If one does, they must keep it contained to one thread because there is no way AZ G &F can have made multiple mistakes.

I don't think it's the officers that are in question, more of the admin side. I won't mention names, but have had officers "off the record" agree.
