I would choose Texas over Oklahoma for hogs. I hunt both states and have seen a lot more hogs in Texas.

I typically hunt on friends land in East Texas (Henderson county) and they are over run with hogs. I'd look in that area around Tyler, Athens, Palestine. Last time I was in the area they had a hog hunting contest at the local sporting good store. Locals brought in over 600 hogs in a week! I've seen 200+ hogs in 2 hours down there. Bring the AR and night vision if you got it. It's shooting, not hunting!

Be aware though that I've never seen the monster hogs that are 400+ pounds in that area. But the good eaters are all less than 150 pounds. We let anything bigger lay cause the meat gets rank.

Expect to sit over feeders at any ranch you're paying to hunt. Wish I had a good outfitter to point you to but I only know local yokels. Enjoy your hunt! Those hogs are great eating.
