COMPLETELY OUT OF CONTROL GREED AND ROBBERY!!!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Hey, I just did something fun...looked for actual data on non-residents.

So, if you would like to hunt Wyoming for bull elk....

Cost of a non-resident tag is $577 plus $14.00 application fee...

Cost of a non-resident "special" tag (I would assume this is comparable to the good bull elk hunts with reasonable chance at a 330" bull, like in AZ's good units) cost is...wait for it...$1057 plus the $14.00 application fee.

Guess what a non-resident tag for elk is? $665 for tag (if you draw) $160 for the license and $13 for the application fee. Which totals up to be $838!

Simple math (hope those numbers are representative, I took them off of the Wy G&F website as well as the AZGFD).

So, where is the better deal to be found? Where is the per person resident cost less?

ETA: It is actually cheaper as the AZGFD numbers contain the application fee...so just take those off the total price.

Six thousand one hundred seventy four LOOKERS. Imagine that. Only a select few with the kahunas to speak up for what's right. Maybe the rest of the sheep are PARANOID thinking their precious chance to draw a tag will be tampered with. (I.R.S. scandle?? ) Nah that could never happen!! :P I really don't care cause I don't depend on the sorry son of a guns. I count on hunting else where. But to bad someone couldn't snoop on that little operation, you think the complaining as some call it is bad now. :D :D :D

Take care, Willie

People would have to find about $700 million extra in the AZGFD budget to continue...don't think that's gonna happen. Facts and numbers tend to end hysteria

While we are on the math stuff...

Fy2011 AZGFD budget $106,663,100.00

That breaks down to $ 8,888,591.67 per Bighorn Sheep that has been killed in the Catalinas thanks to AZGFD

Or

It breaks down to $106,663,100.00 per Jaguar that AZGFD has killed.

And if you consider the population of Jaguars in Wyoming which is 0 compared with the population of Jaguars in AZ which is some times 3. So you can see that we have to spend more to kill a Jaguar, because our population is 3x as much as Wyoming. And obvisouly since the supply of Jaguars is more in AZ the demand is much higher which explains why we spend more for dead Jaguars.

Hang on and I will crunch some more numbers and come up with the supply and demand for dead Bighorn sheep....

It breaks

I dont see anything wrong with hoping myself, my family or my "in-state" friends get a tag. So ya... Forgive me if i care less if someone doesn't like the fact that they have to purchase a license that they wont use if they dont get drawn. Sounds like they shouldnt be putting in if its really that much of a hardship.

I think ya need to read my post. That fee is not to be turned down. That is for a LOYALITY POINT!!!!! He doesn't even intend on hunting in AZ. I will say it again. I don't know what ya all call it. But I call it ORGANIZED CRIME committed on panzy constituents. I've had more fun than any one person is entitled to in one evening. Good night!!!! :D :D :D OH and yeah it's a hardship on him. :D :D :D :D :D :D

Zero like the number of sheep we will have in the Catalinas thanks to AZGFD

And

Zero like the number of Jaguars roaming unit 36B & C

No, 0 as in the number of valid points you have raised. First, you complained about tag fees and app fees...that didn't work so now we complain about sheep and jaguars.

Having a discussion on this forum is comparable to HERDING CATS. Stay on issue. Want to talk about jaguar and sheep in the Catalinas? Lets talk in a different thread...this one is about fees and the AZGFD
