Gotta Love Labs and Duck Hunting

I took this pic of my Chocolate Lab yesterday morning in the duck blind with 2 Teal he had just retrieved for me. It was driving him crazy that they were now out of his reach.

I sure do miss both of my labs! They had wonderful lives and provided so much love to our family. Maybe we will be blessed with another lab someday, but until then, keep the pics coming guys! Those are both BEAUTIFUL dogs!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

I could share a hundred photos but I'll just post up Drake's first limit at 9 months old.

He couldn't understand why I stopped shooting and in no way could I get his attention away from the birds working in the decoys!

CouesPursuit, that's a great name for your boy! My best friend is a Black Lab by the same name!

 

I don't have the time to hunt ducks like I used to with my old hunting partner "Zeus" so I never introduced Drake to it. I didn't want him to know what he was missing out on! He get's a kick out of shed hunting and scouting with me tho!

That's a great picture Bill. I'm partial towards labs myself. Haven't got Lexie in to duck hunting yet but she loves chasing doves and pheasants. Thanks everyone for posting pictures.

labs just drool Golden retrievers Rule LOL had labs for a long time my wife still has hers but now I got goldens I must trained 20 labs this past year great dogs
