Guest oneshot Report post Posted January 3, 2014 Just kinda still hunting through an acorn heavy spot, I stopped by the massive single Arizona Pine is this "flat area" (there arent realy flat areas in the Santa Ritas, just places that arent as steep) with deep multi-trails,and fresh scrapes. I leaned-up against Pine for awhile, just looking what a great place to make a blind/hang a stand, and watered-up... This small 2x2 crossed by at 15yards 20-30mins. later... Then I enjoyed a Mexican Coffee, and waited for his bigger uncle to show... All of the Bucks (34a, west slope) I've seen the last three days have been traveling with a purpose, looking for Does, scrapes are being hit daily.... Good Luck All... Seldom Drawn old men enjoy their spots and stalks, from talking to him. He isn't looking for a quick kill (or else he'd be done by now) he enjoys the hunt and anticipation of doing so. I'm with you though, I'd move to where the deer do but he enjoys his spots. More power to him!

kidso Report post Posted January 4, 2014 My favorite spot is always where no one else will venture to go... Your secret is out, because I know where you hunt. It is that wildlife sanctuary on private conservancy land that is closed to human access. Awesome spot!
