gbocardo Report post Posted January 3, 2014 Well it was December 30th (picture date is set wrong) my last day to hunt and could not find the Big Buck I missed the week before which I posted "Still Cryin". It was 4:30 pm and I decided to head back to my truck and glass a few spots on the way where I occoasionally see deer. Not the hill side I normally see deer on but I was able to pick up a small herd of deer grazing. My ranger spooked them and they ran away but stayed just at the horizon. After glassing them for about 15 minutes they came back and continued grazing. It was four doe and a spike. The spike had a very small fork starting on his right side. I was able to circle around the back of the hill and get on top of the spike. Luckily the does were below him. Ended my December hunt with a 40 yard shot. Again not the big one but he is my first Muley with a Bow. I couldn't be happier. Now January begins. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
