First archery coues

Recommended Posts

Well after blowing a bunch of stalks on good bucks, and eatting my oct rifle tag to repay my buddy for the help he gave me on my elk hunt I finally got it done. Monday I got to my glassing spot befor the sun and immediately glassed a group of does running with a beautiful 3x3. As I got closer I noticed another hunter was stalking the same buck as me so I decided I didn't want to blow it for him and I snuck way around to where I thought the deer would go if he jumped them. Before I could get to where I wanted he jumped the deer and they took off, so I kept waking the way they went. All of a sudden a doe comes flying into the canyon with a buck hot on her tail so I set up and get ready. He stopped at 70 yards and I decided to take the shot, the rest was history!

Thanks! It worked pretty sweet, the doe looked right at me and didn't even worry, and the buck didn't spook either. With a face mask the deer seem to buy it.
