BackwoodsHunter Report post Posted January 1, 2014 Well after blowing a bunch of stalks on good bucks, and eatting my oct rifle tag to repay my buddy for the help he gave me on my elk hunt I finally got it done. Monday I got to my glassing spot befor the sun and immediately glassed a group of does running with a beautiful 3x3. As I got closer I noticed another hunter was stalking the same buck as me so I decided I didn't want to blow it for him and I snuck way around to where I thought the deer would go if he jumped them. Before I could get to where I wanted he jumped the deer and they took off, so I kept waking the way they went. All of a sudden a doe comes flying into the canyon with a buck hot on her tail so I set up and get ready. He stopped at 70 yards and I decided to take the shot, the rest was history! 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
