What's your most important piece of hunting gear?

Recommended Posts

So besides the obvious (binoculars, gun, bow, spotting scope, tripod), what do you consider the most important piece of equipment you take to aid in your success?

Toilet paper

Bwaaaahhhh haa. I know you said besides binoculars, but I do have to say, you can't shoot what you don't first find. I would turn around and go home if I left my binos. Of all the other items none really stick out as essential...except of course the TP :)

I agree with you there. The single most important piece of equipment for me is my binoculars.

I'd say for me, a nice butt pad is right up there with the essentials. It makes the difference in glassing for 8-10 hours or not.

Windicator powder, then rangefinder in that order. My pack in also very important. Wouldn't go on a hunt without one of my Kifarus!
